Buddhism is a well-known world universalizing religion, specifically and generally the fourth largest practiced riligion in the world. The followers of this religious group amount to around 350-450 million. Unlike most world religions, Buddhism is also an applied philosophy. Buddhism adherents are mostly found in China and Southeast Asia. There are two main forms of Buddhism, the two are; Theravada and Mahayana. The practice and foundations of Buddhism traditions are the Three Jewels: the Buddha, the Dharma (teachings), and the Sangha (community). | The Buddhism religion contains a variety of different practices and beliefs, most of which revolve around the teachings of the Buddha, Siddhartha Gautama. Devotion
Devotion is an important part in the practice of most Buddhist adherents. Many forms of expressing devotion are: bowing, offerings, chanting, and pilgrimage.
